  • Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu

    This is your first day to Nepal. Stay at a hotel in Kathmandu where there are restaurant nearby

  • Day 02:Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara 7 hours Driving

  • Day 03:Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool 1.30 hours then 4 hours trekking to tikhedhunga

    you can take a private vehicle for the express drive to reach Nayapool. As you arrive in Nayapool Bazaar, we begin your trek to Birethanti. The route winds through lush green forest and finally culminates at Birethanti after Buffalo on the way to poon hill trek

    Today very early in the morning around 4.45 am we hike together to Poon Hill (3210m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7995m and other numerous snow-capped mountains in the morning then trek down to Ghorepani.

    Heaving Breakfast we trek further to Tadapani village passing several tiny villages such as a Deurali, Banthanti, and forest of Rhododendron. the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring when they bloom.

  • Day 06:Tadapani to Tolka village (1650 m), 7 hours

    The trail goes through forest slowly down to Ghandruk about 1 hour then steeply downwards for about an hour to the river, then ascends steeply for about 2-3 hours through scattered villages with beautiful views of the Fishtail from the Tadapani poon hill trekHimalayas as well as Landruk Village.   • Day 07:Tolka to Dhampus hill station, 5 hours

Deurali hill station 2500 m gives you pleasant views of mystical Pokhara valley in the south and the Annapurna range in the north. Then you descend downhill walking to Dhampus (1830m), another beautiful Gurung village

  • Day 08:Explore Sunrise and trek descend to Pokhara and Sightseeing.

    After having breakfast we trek down to Pokhara and starts to Sightseeing at Davis Falls, World Peace Stupa, International Mountain Museum and Back to Hotel

  • Day 09:Drive (7 hours) to Kathmandu city

    The morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast and lunch.

How difficult is Poon Hill trek

This is very easy trekking in Nepal. It is suitable for everybody. People who haven’t done any previous trekking before this trek or haven’t done any physical exercise can do this trek easily. It does not require big stamina or perfect body for walking however it has a lot of steps to climb up which needs stamina. Nobody gets altitude sickness in this trek but other problem like diarrhea, food poison, headache, vomiting can occur for another reason.

  • Bring plenty of local currency (NPR Rupees). You won’t get any card machine on the mountain. 4000-5000 local currency for a single day includes you food and accommodation and drinks
  • bring your toilet paper! you can also get it on trekking trail
  • Tea houses has a electric power. You have to ask them to charge. they will charge you some money
  • WIFI is available in some guesthouses, they also charge the some money for WIFI
  • if you need medical help, doctors and small hospitals can be found in Ghandruk, Ghorepani and Ulleri as well . they are health post.

      1. Yes, we do. we have a many national parks in the southern part of the country. The Chitwan National park, Bardia National Park and so many other parks. For a short period walk, you can hike around Kathmandu in Shivapuri Nagarjun National park. for a long walk, we suggest you and take you to the Langtang National park trek.
