Itinerary

Poon Hill Trek detail itineraries

  • Day 01:Arrival in Kathmandu
    Welcome you at Tribhuwan International Airport, we will take you with private vehicle and transfer to hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Me or My other mates will brief you about the trip.
  • Day 02:Sightseeing in Kathmandu

    It is the second day of your Nepal trip. Sightseeing in Kathmandu means you would have an opportunity to explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites and learn about history and cultures of Nepal. (If you are not interested or have not sufficient time we would not do sightseeing)
  • Day 03:Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara 7 hours Driving

    After having breakfast we will take a taxi or by walk to Kantipath where we would take the bus to Pokhara it takes 7 Hours from Kathmandu. During the drive, you will also see the landscape and Trisuli River Rafting as well.
  • Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapool 1.30 Hours Driving from Pokahara and 4 Hours Trekking (1500m)

    we would have a private vehicle for the express drive to reach Nayapool. As we arrive in Nayapool Bazzar, we begin our trek to Birethanti. The route winds through lush green forest & finally culminate at Birethanti after walking an hour. In Birethanti we check our permits and walk towards tikhedhunga through the Bank of the river. At first it would be quite harder to adjust with the warm Climate. We continue our journey to Tikhedhunga passing through several small villages and settlements. Afterward, we ascend gently to the final destination of the day. Overnight at Guesthouse.
  • Day 05:Trek to upper Ghorepani village (2675m/8,747 ft), 6 Hours
    Today, we ascend more than three thousand stairs at first to reach Ulleri (2070m.) from Ulleri we again need to climb slowly ascend up to Banthanti. During the journey, you will see good view of Machhapuchhare known as mount Fish Tail (6997m.), mount Hiunchuli (6441m.) Now, our trail is quite easier passing through Rhododendron and shadowy trees and ascends gently up to the final camp at Ghorepani village
  • Day 06:Hike to Poon Hill (3210m/10,497 ft.), Trek to Tadapani (1950m/6,377 ft), 6 hours

    An early morning hiking to Poon Hill (3210m).from here you can see the sunrise as well as panoramic views of Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7040m), Annapurna south (7219 m) among others. We can also see various kinds of birds, butterflies, Flora and Fauna as well as various ethnic groups such as Brahmin, Chhetri, Magar, and Gurung.
  • Day 07:Tadapani to Ghandruk Village (1650 m) , 2hours

    The trail goes through forest slowly down to Ghandruk about 2 hour then we reach to Ghandruk, we would also see the gurung museum at Ghanruk and village excursion.
  • Day 08:Ghandruk to Pokhara, 4 hours

    After heaving the Breakfast we starts to go descend from Ghandruk to syauli Bazzar then to Birethanti and finally Nayapool then private transport to Pokahra
  • Day 09:Pokahara Sightseeing.

    Today we do Sightseeing at pokhra such place like Davis Falls, World Peace Stupa, International Mountain Museum and Back to Hotel. Overnight at Lodge at B&B Plan.
  • Day 09:Drive (7 hours) to Kathmandu city

    Morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route will stop for breakfast and lunch.
  • Final departure day

    Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. Wish you your wonderful journey.
