The Sagarmatha National Park is a protected area in northeast Nepal. The national park is Named by Mt. Everest. It expands an area of 1,148 km2 (443 sq mi) in the Solukhumbu District. It ranges in elevation from 2,845 to 8,848 m (9,334 to 29,029 ft) at the summit of Mount Everest. The national park shares the international border with Tibet and extends to the Dudh Kosi river in the south. On this national park forested zone, birch, juniper, blue pines, firs, bamboo, and rhododendron grow. Above this zone, the vegetation is dwarf-sized or comprises shrubs. The national park provides habitat to at least 118 species of birds, including Himalayan monal, blood pheasant, red-billed chough, and yellow-billed chough. There are a number of rare mammal species, including musk deer, snow leopard, Himalayan black bear and red panda.

Tengboche Monastery also is known as Dawa Choling Gompa. this is one is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Sherpa community. By Flight
If you have a short holiday and want to trek for 2 weeks for the trek you can start from Lukla. The Trek starts from Lukla (2,886m/9,437 ft) one of the main entrance of Everest Region Trek. To go to Lukla you have to catch the domestic flight from Kathmandu which takes just 40 Minutes. There are 4-5 Domestic airline who do a regular flight from Kathmandu. you have to come back also from Lukla to Kathmandu. People who have a long time and have great stamina they can even go from Jiri. Jiri is a traditional gateway of the Everest Region
By Bus
for the trekkers who have a time and wants to do the long trek. Trek from jiri is best for the trekker. it would be 7 days more trek to Lukla.
