Mardi Himal trek Highlights includes the following that we have mentioned here below, please check it out.
Mardi himal Trek best season is without any doubts Autum and spring season. Please check how the weather looks like in month wise below
Mid-September, October, and November are Autumn Season: This is the best time to do trekking because in this time the field is full with crops, the forest is very green and there is no chance of rain.
March, May is the second-best season of the year to do trekking: During this time the forest becomes very colorful because of rhododendron and magnolia flowers as well as very less chance of rain.
December, January, and February: the sky is clear but the weather is cold and there is a risk of hailstorm and snowfall.
May, June: This is Nepal´s hot and pre-monsoon season and it can get very warm indeed. This is still the best time to do this trek.
June, July, August, and mid-September: this is Monsoon season and the least popular time to do trekking in Nepal. The risk of leeches, landslides, floods and so on.
This is moderate trek so it does not require super fitness body but if you can walk around 6-7 hours in a day would be fine. This trek does not need any technical climbing. The trail is easier and less icy. In this trek, you have to go until 4500 Meter from sea level by hiking in the morning from High Camp 3580 meter.

Like most of the Annapurna region treks, Mardi Himal trek starts from Phedi and ends at the Lumre. Phedi is 15KM driving from Pokhara. Pokhara is the entrance to Annapurna region a paradise city of Nepal where people can do relax after and before trekking. Pokhara is 200km and takes 7-8 hours driving from Kathmandu by the tourist bus which cost is about 10$ per person. There are local bus and microbus as well which leaves morning to 3 pm every one hour from Kathmandu. There are also regular flights to Pokhara by all domestic airlines, which cost USD 122.00 per person
You can get any types of western food in this trail. Every hotel has its own menu which is prepared by their village tourism management committee so there is no variation in food and it’s price. You can get chocolate, dry foods, and snacks in trekking. You can buy mineral water on this trail but I would recommend you to bring your water purification tablet and if possible small hand filter as well. For the accommodation in this trail, you can get a basic accommodation in this route. you have to share bathroom and toilet.
It is better not to do solo trek specially for female. The trail goes via forest you can’t see the village until 4/5 hours. These are not village they have made the hotel after the route is opened. If you go with at least with another person it is safe and you can not miss from the way because there is not good marking on trail.

After having breakfast we will take taxi or by walk to go to Kantipath where we would take the bus to Pokhara which takes 7/8 Hours from Kathmandu. During the drive you will also see the landscape and Trisuli River Rafting as well.
Service Included: Transportation, Hotel Accommodation in Bed and breakfast Plan.
Early in the morning drive to Phedi which takes about an hour by private vehicle. Leaving the vehicle we need to climb the hill to get the Dhampus top which takes about 1:30 hours. having lunch at Dhampus we continue to trek to Pothna through the forest which takes about 2 hours and from their Deurali is about an hour.
Service Included: Transportation, Lunch, and Dinner
Deurali, where you will turn off the main Annapurna Sanctuary Trek and continue along a quiet trail through a dense forest of oak, maple, hemlock, and rhododendrons. The trail is so zigzag and full of up and down. There are big trees of Pine, Oak, Rhododendron, and Magnolia.
From Forest Camp to Low Camp, the trail continues through the forest; however we need to climb ascend, the vegetation starts to change with more rhododendrons and trees covered with moss, lichen and tree ferns. At Low Camp, there are 3 basic lodges- one with a dining room with open fire. The view from Low Camp is superb, with Mount Machhapuchhre visible up the valley.
An hour climbing above Low Camp, the trail breaks out above the tree line and towards the west- there is a good view of the Annapurna South and the Hiunchuli. The trail continues along the Mardi Himal ridge mainly on a grass with some isolated rhododendron bushes along the way. We can see the superb view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) from the trail.
Today we wake up early around 4:0 clock in the morning for a sunrise view of the Annapurna Himalayan ranges, then after an early breakfast if possible, walk up the ridge towards Mardi Himal. There is a well-established trail through the grass with a couple of steeper sections, we will avoid the most difficult part through long way which takes 30 minutes more so overall, it’s not too challenging. After 4 hours trekking, you can reach the Upper Viewpoint at 4,200m; this is where one can look into the Annapurna Sanctuary and the panoramic view is spectacular looking at the south face of Annapurna and all of the peaks in the Sanctuary as well as Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). On the time of return, we can see the dzos (yak/ cow crossbreds) grazing up here as well as Danphe pheasant. In the summer, the sheep and goats from lower villages are brought up to graze in this area so you will pass a number of herder’s huts along the way
From today we start to decent down, we can take a different route but we highly recommend you to trek through low camp and go descends down from there through thick forest which is mostly covered with musk and fungus. It takes about 6 hours to get Siding village. We can relax here looking around the village in the evening.
From Siding, you will walk through the road head at Lumre, which is very least busy. The road is mostly wet so there is less chance of dust. On the way from Siding, you will pass the villages of Kalimati and Ghalel. Kalimati is mainly a Brahmin village with Ghalel and Siding both being a mix of Brahmin and Gurung. At Lumre, you will meet Vehicle which will take you to Pokhara. You will be taken by me to sightseeing to Davis fall Tibetan refugee camp and Gupteshowor Gupha.
takes about 7-8 hours driving to Kathmandu by tourist bus
Sightseeing in Kathmandu means you would have an opportunity to explore UNESCO World Heritage Sites and learn about history and cultures of Nepal. (If you are not interested or have not sufficient time we would not do sightseeing)
