Poon hill trek detail itineraries
Day 02:Trek to upper Ghorepani village (2675m/8,747 ft), 6 Hours
Today, we ascend more than three thousand stairs at first to reach Ulleri (2070m.) from Ulleri we again need to climb slowly ascend up to Banthanti. During the journey, you will see good view of Machhapuchhare known as mount Fish Tail (6997m.), mount Hiunchuli (6441m.) Now, our trail is quite easier passing through Rhododendron and shadowy trees and ascends gently up to the final camp at Ghorepani village
Day 03:Hike to Poon Hill (3210m/10,497 ft.), Trek to Tadapani (1950m/6,377 ft), 6 hours
An early morning hiking to Poon Hill (3210m).from here you can see the sunrise as well as panoramic views of Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091 m), Mt. Nilgiri (7040m), Annapurna south (7219 m) among others. We can also see various kinds of birds, butterflies, Flora and Fauna as well as various ethnic groups such as Brahmin, Chhetri, Magar, and Gurung.
Day 04:Tadapani to Ghandruk Village then drive to pokhara (800 m) , and fly back to Kathmandu
The trail goes through forest slowly down to Ghandruk about 2 hours then we reach to Ghandruk. then we take the jeep to Pokhara and catch the evening flight to Kathmandu
Day 01:Fly to Pokhara and trek to Tikhedhunga 1577 M, 5177 FT
you can take the taxi to reach Nayapool. As you are in Nayapool Bazzar, Your trek guide and porter wait you there. or you can even go to together from kathmandu. The route winds through lush green forest & finally culminate at Birethanti after walking an hour. In Birethanti we check our permits and walk towards tikhedhunga through the Bank of the river. At first it would be quite harder to adjust with the warm Climate. We continue our journey to Tikhedhunga passing through several small villages and settlements. Afterward, we ascend gently to the final destination of the day. Overnight at Guesthouse.
